Period furniture restoration and museum conservation services, traditional upholstery, marquetry and veneer repair, period finishing, high end re creations of museum pieces. All work done by hand.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My degree is in High Energy Physics and I decided to change my career to work in a pre industrial lifestyle.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I am the American expert on period French marquetry techniques. I only work using methods and materials appropriate to the period. I provide free estimates and professional transportation is included.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
My location is 5,000 square feet in an historic commercial district in San Diego. I have no plans to expand.
