Our charters are designed for our guests to relax and take in the sights of beautiful San Diego.
Of course, if a guest wants to take the helm we encourage it but it is not required! There is no having to work on our boats, no standing or sitting on uncomfortable parts. These boats have two really nice bathrooms or “heads” for our guests to use! Our boats are decorated beautifully; you will not get just a bare boat!

How long have you been in business?
We have owned the company for 10 years as of March 25 2016. We are the 4th owners. The company was started in 1989 and the other three owners all all still in the marine industry here in San Diego. The Guy we bought the company from Captains for us a couple a times a month. the Guy he bought it from Sell boats and we are in looking to buy a boat from him. And the original owner left The states for quite some time and has arrive back running a catamaran charter company.
What is your primary product or service?
The things we do the most of are 3-6 hour day sails and sunset sails. We also do many corporate regattas, Bachlorette trips, Rum Runner sails, We also have 22' boat for lessons and a 34' Fishing Boat that is becoming very popular.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have done sailing Charters in much of the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. Working with the 3 largest charter company's on the planet . As well as working on 100'+ private boats. I do deliveries of boats all over every ocean. I grew up with boat in the Chesapeake Bay. Michele Co-Owner and wife, Worked for a few of the top brokerages in Seattle and we met at a boat show in Miami.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We sail the newest, cleanest, boats we can possibly afford. our latest was build in 2015 and we replace them refreshing the fleet as often as possible. we pick certain types of boats that are perfect for the job at hand. Not chartering with whatever we happen to own and turn it into charter. Plus we have the friendliest, knowledgeable, And capable captains in San Diego. they have to fit all of these criteria as well a a few others. Ther Tips show the grat job they do.

Head west toward the bay where the convention center, The “Midway”, and the tall ship “Star of India” are located.
Turn right at N Harbor Dr and go about 4 miles, you will pass the airport.
Turn Left on Scott St. and go 1/3 of a mile.
Go to the next stop light; turn left on Shelter Island Dr.
Go ½ mile, you will see a traffic circle, bear right.
Go 1/4 mile and pull into the parking lot on the left side just passed the Silver Gate Yacht Club. (There is a group of palm trees in the parking lot entrance)
Continue down the parking lot 100 yards until you see the “Best Western” sign across the street and down low. Park in the lot anywhere, IT’S FREE.
Walk down the breezeway to the right of the hotel’s reception building.
Have a seat at the bench next to the sign “Shelter Island Marina” We will meet you there.We are not in the marina office. Please wait here for us to greet you.
Coming from La Jolla or MissionValley:
Head South on interstate 5 OR West on interstate 8 to where they both meet.
Take the Rosecrans Exit, be careful it’s a tricky exit.
Go 2.5 miles, Turn left on Shelter Island Dr.

And that was the best because she was not going to be on earth much longer and came out a second time during her week in San Diego.
