Johnson Pre-School Performing Arts Academy,Inc.(JPPAA) a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation is registering children 3 to 6 years of age. The mission of JPPAA is to provide a curriculum that is a balance between classical education and the performing arts. JPPAA will provide a highly trained staff to attend to the needs of the students in its care, thereby creating a safe and therapeutic environment that is conductive to the nurturing and enrichment of young minds. We now have an extended hours program from 2:30 pm to 12:am. JPPAA will be awarding 6 scholarships(1 full 6 month and 5 partial) this year. How long have you been in business?
We opened for business on the 10th of May 2008. We've been in business for a year and a half as of today November 10, 2009.
What is your primary product or service?
We offer preschool for children 3 to 6 years of age. Our curriculum is a balance between classical education and the performing arts.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
After working with at risk children during my early years, it became reasonable that developing a program that would influence them on a positive path, before they became "at risk" was the best route to take.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Johnson Preschool Performing Arts Academy, Inc. believes that Early Childhood Development not only benefits the children but the community as a whole. With this understanding, we teach the whole child with California State Standard Educational material as well as having a Music Director and a Dance Instructor come in twice a week to teach performing arts.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Currently, we only have the San Marcos location. However, we do plan to expand as enrollment increases.

Going East on 78, get off on San Marcos Blvd, go right then turn right at the second light at Grand Avenue. As you turn the curve, turn left by the Ristorante Carmela sign. We are in Suite 6. Going West on 78, get off on San Marcos Blvd, turn Left, go under the overpass and turn right on Grand Avenue. Then turn left at the Ristorante Carmela sign. We are in Suite 6.
What type of payments do you accept?
Currently, we only accept cash or checks.
Which areas do you service?
We serve Vista, San Marcos, Escondido, San Elijo Hills or whatever area parents are in that want their child to enjoy a quality preschool.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we have a Board of Directors, but the Director maintains daily operations.
What are your hours of operation?
Our hours are 7:30am to 4:30 pm, M-F. We are, also, available for extended care from 2:30pm to 12:00am.
