How long have you been in business?
From January 1972 to present day = 42+ Years .
What is your primary product or service?
We're a Charity helping children, churches and non-profit groups...plus the defenders of our freedoms. We provide educational, motivational, inspirational and character building training via the Internet to children (of all ages) nationwide and worldwide. Along with that we provide education for the dignity of jobs to our Troops and Veterans. In living the Golden Rule we can't exclude anyone so we include everyone. We're also helping millions of Americans with a free health-care card that's for real ... How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As a Navy combat fighter pilot I wanted to help the families of our KIAs, our POWs and our MIAs. Too many friends in military service were in one of those categories. I became the Founder and President of the Golden Rule Society during my career as a Navy Captain and then a PSA / USAirways Captain. I’ll continue doing the charity work of the Lord as long as I am able.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
First and foremost...we’re ALL non-paid volunteers for 42+ years. We continue to touch the lives of millions of people all over the world. Most everything on our Website is free, with some items better than free. Visit http://www.goldenrulesociety.org for your gifts.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location but we continue to expand our help and influence to many organizations. Here are just three...there are many more. 1. We're putting the finishing touches on a program helping to educate our Veterans, our Troops and their families... plus our world wide neighbors for personal growth and financial freedom. 3. What type of payments do you accept?
Financial donations and grants. (We’re not equipped to handle clothing, household furnishings, cars, etc). And, being a certified 501 (c) (3) corporation all donations are tax-deductible. It's nice to know 100% of the net donations are distributed to needy non-profit organizations. Our expenses are absolutely minimal or non-existent. Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Len and Anne Kaine are the “Founders” and the responsible parties. Again, we are all non-paid volunteers as are the Advisory Board Members. We have NO employees. Len and Anne Kaine conduct the daily operations with help from our volunteers. Except for office equipment and supplies, we have no major assets.
What are your hours of operation?

What is the best compliment anyone can give you?

What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
I researched the Golden Rule as it's written in the Books of the world's eight major religions. I then compiled them into a simple modern version for all the world... "Treat people the way you want to be treated, truthfully with dignity and respect." And, our philosophy is also quite simple ... "To better the lives of others is your life's greatest reward".
